Mia Goth May Have Hinted at Shia LeBouef Split Months Ago
After Shia LaBeouf’s arrest in New Orleans, it emerged that he and Mia Goth had split for good last year. However, many wondered when this happened, and if either hinted at it beforehand. Well, after some digging, we discovered that Goth may have hinted about their split four months ago.
In an Oct 2025 interview with Elle, journalist Lauren Puckett-Pope noted that the Pearl star said, “What I don’t want to talk about is Shia LaBeouf.” While many celebrities like to be private about their personal life, the timing of it all has eagle-eyed fans putting the puzzle pieces together.

For those who don’t know, Goth and LaBeouf met on the set of Nymphomaniac Vol II in 2012. Soon after, she starred in the music video he directed for Future Unlimited’s single “Haunted Love” in late 2013, and they made their red carpet debut almost a year later.
However, in 2015, right when engagement rumors started, an explosive video from ETOnline surfaced showing a screaming match in Germany. He was recorded saying on the drive away, “If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her.”
They married in 2016 in Las Vegas but filed for divorce in 2018, citing an “amicable” split. However, they sparked reconciliation rumors in both 2020 and 2021, before actually reconciling in late 2021.

They welcomed their daughter, Isabel, in March 2022. He confirmed it to Variety, saying, “I have a little girl, Isabel; she is five months old and just beginning to develop the last half of her laugh; it’s AMAZING,” he wrote. “Mia, my wife & I have found each other again & are journeying toward a healthy family with love and mutual respect.”
They were mostly out of the public eye until Page Six reported that LaBeouf and Goth privately separated in mid 2025. But it remains unclear if they have officially filed for divorce, or are just separated.
