Gwyneth Paltrow Took a Total 180 on Her Awards Season Attendance by Making Shock Appearance a 2026 Actor Awards
Gwyneth Paltrow has skipped almost all of the 2026 awards season, despite her return to film, specifically for the critically acclaimed 2025 movie Marty Supreme. She skipped the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards after her role was snubbed, but now, she’s done a total 180 for the Actor Awards.
For the Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, is currently streaming live on Netflix, and so many A-listers have come out to show love for their fellow actors, including Paltrow. While she’s been ghost for most of it, she made a super-rare appearance to present for the award show (and to appear alongside her Marty Supreme cast for their nomination for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture).

For the event, Paltrow turned heads in this tea-length, sparkling black gown from Givenchy, which she paired with black heels and emerald Belperron jewelry! Truly, she looks amazing for her first outing for Marty Supreme this award season!
