Everybody thinks they can judge a player in ten minutes.
I always have and always will use the example of Mark Dennis. His first game - SHA would have had him lynched. His second and third weren't much better. But then - once he settled down, suddenly everybody felt different.
The other difference now is that people won't change their mind. If Nsue were injured for say - a dozen games, and Cogley came in and did well, some people might admit he was alright after all - quite a few would still insist he was crap though. Because they couldn't face being wrong on the internet. It's a shame.
