Excuse my ignorance but is it an actual fact other than speculation that he was courting other jobs? People throw accusations around as it suits their agendas, but ultimately rowett was doing the business on the pitch which quite frankly was all I cared about.
Whilst we love our club, players and managers are purely employees who like most people in life will want to better themselves that's the way of the world
Because he wasn't prepared to put up with somebody other than him deciding on who we should sign. Zola and Redknapp were prepared to let a director of football do so. Going well isn't it?
