The Bat
I can't tell you how much I love this guy, he's a real scream. The things he says and his mannerisms just crack me up. The programme is crap though cos the cases are mostly the same where someone takes someone else to court for dough they are owed. Almost always Rind goes on about nothing else matters other than an enforceable contract i.e. If someone borrows someone a bag of sand for instance then that should be written down and signed. Course nobody does that in real life do they? A gran and her grandson were just on and of course the outcome was the same. She borrowed him dough, no written contract, so he gets away Scott free as there's no contract. I sometimes wonder if these shows are staged?
Glad I followed Polonius' adage of 'Neither a borrower nor a lender be, For loan oft loses both itself and friend, And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
I agree he is captivating i don't know why. As you say his mannerisms make me crease. Shit program, it's like jeremy kyle court case, but still I can't turn it off.
