I've kept out of threads relating to cars on here for a few years now because i ended up inundated for info etc
.. but people should embrace bangernomics a lot lot more ... you can get 3 decent cars for £600 each which will last a lot longer than 1 for £2k .... or take the really sensible option ... buy something for £1200 and put £800 aside for any repairs etc over the lifetime you expect to get from your £2K car
