It's windy, barren sand dune with a beautiful beach and genuinely terrifying sea. The main town Sal was unnerving to say the least. Our all inclusive was the smaller of the two, there maybe more now, but the food was ropey and the all the drinks were watered down. Oh and we had two ipods nicked from the rooms. Longest week of our lives. I'd sooner nail my nadgers to a burning shed than go back.
