I have it on pretty good authority that Middlesbrough target Ryan Shotton has been training with Birmingham City.
Given Mayor was able to readily post the criteria for signing non-EU players on here it is clearly not a state secret.
We could concentrate our efforts on players that meet the criteria (but I guess they are expensive) or on players with EU passports where there is no work permit issue.
Spending a lot of time, effort and money on a transfer like this when the outcome relies on the whim of a panel could prove to be an unwelcome distraction. All fine of course if we get the deal done though! Читать дальше...

Is fab. But its not happening. He seemed even more dour and frustrated last night after the game. We have let something like 10 players go (Fab, Stewart, etc etc) and only got 3 in. He still has Gleeson, tesche, Brock sat there who he clearly doesn't want to play. Last night ended up with pretty much Rowetts team plus Roberts, Stockdale and Ensue.

Shinnie was ok at best but once Fabrini and then Toral shown us what a player in that position is capable of then we realised it was rose tinted glasses we saw him through, can do a job lower in the division
Why don't we celebrate that we made money on a goalkeeper that was always scared of the ball? Or that we have managed to sign one of the best keepers of the division on a free.

I didnt go lat night but I did listen to it on WM .It seemed to me that Gardner had a dreadful game, the commentators were certainly not kind .
How was he, and is he good enough for the team that Harry seems to want ?
Gardner was sound as was almost everyone, just nothing special from anyone loys of huff and puff but no real inspiration, Gardner playing a very simple ball retention type of game for us, very different from 2010.
