Rowett had no money and got into the playoffs many times during the season.

Harry seems to be really struggling, I don't think he can get the best out of the players - its a shame as we've pissed away an easy start to the league, and all this money we've spent we'll be for nothing.

Love to see the opta stats from yesterday's game. I'd hazard a guess that the players who had the most touches of the ball were Davis, Lowe, morrison and grounds. These guys just aren't good enough to get the ball early to our creative players.
6 games into the season and I am still struggling to understand our shape hopefully it settles in the next month but it's defo more akin to zola and clarks reign than the organisation we had under rowett so far.
It's football. If this was ten games under under a decent manager such as Redknapp there should be concern, no panic IMO. Zola was different for all the previously stated reasons.
Easy to forget as well under Mr. Rowett we didn't exactly do great against "easier" teams all the time.
Next season will be the one for blues it's all far too early for this team this season and on a serious note I'm genuinely not expecting the play offs either (look what villa spent as well last term)I reckon just below them/mid table finish is where we will end....(without Harry as well).

Even accounting for this, don't you think it is still shocking that we have only scored 3 goals in 6 games and had no shots yesterday when you couldn't have really hand picked an easier start to the reason in terms of the teams we have played.
It's unrealistic expectations isn't it.
Remember when SB bought in Dugarry, Upson et all one January ? It took that team time to gel and Dugarry didn't score in his first half a dozen games or so I think. We had even more new players yesterday and hadn't pulled up any trees thus far this season anyway.

It's ok saying we've got to wait weeks for this team to start playing but that's points lost on the board, fans losing interest and a catch up to mid table. One above the bottom 3 now and with the recent investment I expected at least one shot on target.
