I think it's a mixture of things.

First off the decision to sack Rowett caused chaos, Zola managed to install a losing mentality that still seems to linger.

Secondly we simply have a poor central midfield, Gardners finished and NDoye is simply a passenger, Davis is ok but playing with them 2 he cannot carry them both, this means we do not dominate the ball & our defence is exposed too frequently.

Couple players I'm noticing to be bad apples with their attitudes and lack of effort/commitment. Maghoma - He just doesn't look bothered, pulls out of challenges, just generally looks very lazy/uninterested.
N'Doye - Fans are figuring out that he's awful and getting on his back a bit. He just looks like he don't want to be here and frankly I'd be chuffed if he went right now, the guys abysmal.
N'Sue - this one bugs me more as I do think he's a talented player, very quick, I'd say with this... Читать дальше...

Other teams simply look fitter, sharper and better conditioned than Blues. For at least three of Hull's many goals today, they pounced on errors by Blues players, nicked the ball and just sprinted away from them before the Blues players could react. Within ten paces, the Hull players were in acres of space and able to take their time and carefully pick their spot, under no pressure whatsoever. The Preston game was no better. Thinking of the youth players, we had a lot of shots today off target, Ronan Hale can't miss, is he out on loan? Surely worth a spot on the bench, we're crying out for that guy who scores when there isn't much on. Might be a kid but I'd rather watch him try than never know if he could.

There are a lot of problems out there but I think most stem from the midfiel. No creativity from the three yet they are unable to screen the back line. I thought it was hard to find a poorer midfield three of gleeson, Davis and keef but these guys have managed it. Failure to strengthen with quality has hurt us big time

On paper, our squad is actually quite good. I understand were missing 5 first teamers but were just a huge mess. No plan, hardly ever make the keeper work and at times dont look like a football team. Completely fed up of always looking 2nd best. Even when we grab a lucky win its just that, luck. Not skill/ability.

Teams such as preston, bristol, ipswich, brentford are streets ahead and they have hardly spent a thing.

Too many shit days and performances for me. I just feel like there's something amiss with the attitude of the players. It's like they can't be bothered sometimes, but will still pocket their money at the end of the month.

I'd happily settle for a mid to lower table finish this year, if it means that those who aren't committed are shown the door and we get a more coherent and dedicated.

That ain't going to happen 'cos it's modern football & the players run the game but it's a top idea
