4-4-2 Saturday ?? (10 replies)
The needless Adams rash challenge could give us a slight problem on Saturday.
Who partners the Juke in Garry Monk's disciplined and successful 4-4-2 gameplan ?

Absolutely ecstatic with tonight's result. Loved the passion wes showed at the end of the game, just what we need!
How did he get on tonight?
IMPORTANT Please buy your tickets in advance,as there has been no Pay on the day for away fans so far this season
Coming by road.
Do NOT USE M5/M4/M32 route and don't try to negotiate the roads and streets of Bristol
YOU WILL GET LOST
use M5 southbound to junction 18(Avonmouth) then follow signs A4 Bristol airport
It looks the long way round but its quicker.
Parking is normally in the streets around the area as long as you are there by 4pm please don't block drive ways or park on corners. Читать дальше...
I know it's a 7pm kick off and a quid in, but does anyone know what stands are open? And what crowd are we expecting?

That's what I'm expecting but I wanted to go in the Main Stand tonight. It's closer to The Ruin and Hennessey's
I think we have the most difficult run-in of all the relegation contenders after Saturday.
I'm enjoying the good form as much as anyone, but playing Wolves, Fulham and teams competing for the playoffs is not making me feel confident.
As it stands, failing to win against Burton would be a disaster, since after that the only game in which I'd put us as favourites is QPR.
Could honestly see Barnsley catching us still.
Went to the pub on the other side of the M61 after the game for a quick one. It's up to the roundabout and turn right. I bumped into a small group of 'older' Blues fans, lovely people. They'd made a bit of a day of it and gone to Blackburn first to see Fred Pickering, which was great (for younger fans, Blues centre forward in the late '60s). He's 77 now, IIRC, and in reasonable health - they had a photo taken with him, and while he doesn't look like the player I remember, he looks better than I do. Читать дальше...
When I was first going to the Blues, Fred Pickering was my idol. Sulky, skilful, tough and scored goals.
For merely getting a squad with players on 40k a week to finish above Burton and Barnsley?
Not exactly an even playing field!
Any news on when they may be back?

No coincidence to me why we've kept three consecutive clean sheets due to tbe organisation GM has implemented. Good example last night where Max and Dean alternated to pick up Ameobi dependant on the situation. It did play into our hands though with them trying to lump it up to him.
Morro and particularly Harlee were collossal last night, absolutely awesome. Particularly Dean who had to put up with that little chuntweasel no 9 jumping into him every time he was out to head it clear.

Back 4 very good. Davis and Ndoye defensively solid too. In fact everybody on top of their game, apart from Jota. Not really his type of game though. Lots of balls in the air and hustle and bustle

As bad as we were, we weren't that much better against say Hull, Villa and Bristol. Birmingham actually created less than those three. Just the nature of playing to fine margins as we do.
Fair play to their fans for superb backing. Put their neighbours Villa to shame with that backing
SUPERB ! (*)

Like a banana, but the right direction for the goal.
Curling towards goal teasing the keeper and central defenders alike, rather than away from the keeper towards the players as has been done all season.
Football is easy, it is made difficult.

Best header of a ball at the club since?
