Released a statement. Apparently some sh*t has gone down. Wonder if it was during his time at Blues?

There's a few cricket buffs on here so what's the view on The 100?
I'm relatively new to the new formats of limited overs cricket after a long absence but I'm totally into it now. However the shirts that look like fruit salad wrappers with an upside down old Wolves badge with a crap unhealthy sponsor on the front isn't doing it any favours plus asking supporters from Worcestershire to support a team named Birmingham Phoenix can't be right? My local team is Trent Rockets who'll be playing at Nottingham... Читать дальше...
The criticisms of this are much the same as the criticisms made about T20. I think most people now accept T20 is a marvellous spectacle and the numbers who turn up to watch back this up.
What I do think though is there comes a point when the things we love about cricket-runs, wickets and catches start to lose their context.
We all want to see attacking football, we all love goals so perhaps we should have biger goals. Don't let players pass backwards.
I don't think... Читать дальше...

As I said elsewhere. It's a poor division.
I said before the CL final in May that I didn't rate him as highly as most people do. He has assembled a Spura team with absolutely no bottle whatsoever, and that has been the case for a long time.
Me and my daughter have been arguing over the meaning of a "showstopper".
Is it something bad (i.e. a potential problem that could muck everything in a project up)?
Or is it something good (i.e. something really amazing in a performance or event)?
I know what side I'm on.

Boro were the worst exponents of this I've seen. Yes we pressed them but we also tried to press Preston and they passed it around us
Nathan Jones himself was saying he was going to be sacked on Tuesday night, and he's probably now saved his skin (temporarily at least) by beating the side at the top of the table.
Football never ceases to surprise you.
Mark looks back at a rollercoaster week for the Blues that included a couple of dismal performances, one fantastic display of tippy tappy Dongball and murmurs of a Royal Brumble!..

What’s happening on here?
Because he had a a cracking game last night not a peep from the bedwetters after tuesdays tirade of hate.????????
Saul Goodman
He was a good keeper, I don’t think he is any more. And if we hadn’t had a transfer embargo he’d now be retired. I’ll always support him when he’s playing but I can’t pretend I think he’s good, albeit I like him as a bloke.

Not sure if anyone has posted this link yet to the highlights on youtube ... we look even better on a second watch
If it's too small "embedded" on here then just click where it says "youtube" at the bottom of the clip
Nice one Rags.????
‘A bit negative’ is understandable.
Meanwhile, Nabay is playing for Nuneaton in the 7th tier of english football.
When I was a kid in the 60's my first memories of Blues was watching in awe the likes of Vincent, Vowden, Herriott, Bridges and Pickering.
These were big men and I was just a wide eyed kid.
Then the the likes of Francis Burns, Gallagher, who were my age, came along were watched with respect and jealousy of the talent they possessed.
Move forward to Horsfield, Morrison, Forsell et al who were younger, but for some reason didn't seem "that young"
But last night... Читать дальше...
Great post John. I am from your era and couldn't have summed it up better.

I'm thinking he's faked injury to cover up his howler.
Can anyone remember when (I think) Ron Saunders played Mick Harford and Mick Ferguson as 'twin centre forwards'?
Morning All,
Still beaming ear to ear from last nights result and performance.
Food for thought though, how would you integrate Josh McEachran into that side. I’m a big fan of not changing a winning side so expect Pep to stay with the same side against Leeds. However McEachran is by far good enough to come into the staring XI when fully fit.
How does Pep juggle this or will Hong Kong decide for him ?
KRO
We could possibly have a home formation and an away formation
4-3-2-1 away
GG, Davis, Sunjic/Crowley
Montero, Mags, Crowley, Villalba all being wide options
juke/Giminez up top
Cyrus Christie! Behave
