Massive queues (maybe half a mile?) at McDonald's in Rubery and Oldbury in the last hour as I drove past.
Pathetic.
Thanks for the links, and reasoned data, Archangel. Honestly don’t get the criticism you’re receiving on here, surely a bit of perspective backed up by valid sources is to be welcomed, not angrily dismissed and categorised with the ‘it’s only flu brigade’.
The criticism people rightfully receive for dismissing this virus as a non-entity is wholly justified however, the level of hysteria and fear doesn’t seem to match the reality of the illness when you look at the real data. People keep... Читать дальше...

My first Blues hero was Eddy Brown. Bertie was my 2nd hero.
I have a flight booked 22 April, already cancelled air bnb for full refund. Easy jet are offering to let me change the flight to one later in the year, any flight, with no fee, but I don't trust this virus, nor this government to have sorted it out any time soon.
They are still selling tickets for the flight I'm on. If that gets cancelled, do easy jet have to refund me? If it doesn't get cancelled but gov advice is essential travel only, do I get a refund or have to go via insurance, and will they pay? Читать дальше...

Yeah seen the posts on fb and will put what I can afford to this week.

The lads want to give him a proper send off just worried it won’t be the one people want.
Greggs is shutting its door end of play tomorrow!
What am I going to do out on the road now.
Anyone know what the plans are for those living on the street during this time? Especially if it becomes mandatory to leave the streets.

I'm not sure who is right re the London transport situation yet when even senior people within a political party can't agree, as I'm sure it is with the Tories too plus the experts, IMO it shows how complex this all is with a no win win answer at present
I'm convinced now. The cough is there, but not troubling for days. The fever though is ridiculously bad. Saturday and Sunday for spells I thought I was getting over it, but eff me, Saturday and especially last night the fever returned stronger. 4 or 5 hours ofvburning temperature, eyes and head hurting, chest and lungs ducked, no appetite, can't keep still, can't sleep. I was scared last night.
Stay well, Desmond

I live in Spain mate and the Emergency Services have been brilliant. Every evening at 2000 our locked down communities come out onto their balconies and applaud them. It's a very touching thing KRO
