Agreed a three year plan is nonsense but it’s getting at longer term thinking which never seems to actually be put into action.
We have made the odd signing over the years which make sense long term (adams, Leko, sunjic etc) - granted they may not have always worked but the profile in terms of age was much better, but over all we have lacked any type of strategy, be in recruitment, formation or even our best 11.
