I’m in a lonely camp, I don’t think Gary Gardner is bad at all.

Love them or hate them, we have a fair few doing it. Davo, Brummie Joe (Sometimes) but the Blues Focus one fronted up by a lad called Tommy along with his dad and Brother is the best for me.

The production of this one is superb for the first game of the season. Great watch.

Every championship side has now played one game so here are a few early thoughts based on what has happened this weekend.

The teams that came down obviously have top players but its not going to be a walk in the park for em nor a straight shootout between those teams for the top 3 places. They all conceded and Leeds were very fortunate to avoid defeat.

Nearly 21 now and not even on the bench for what looked a bang average Leeds side.

I certainly don't want to see him fail but can't help but wonder if his move to Leeds has been a good one for his career.

We got a lot of very soft fouls in the first 20 minutes yesterday but yes I largely agree.

Its fairly obvious from yesterday and the games on tv today that refs are not blowing up at every bit of physical contact and ruining games.
They are clearly under instructions , long may it continue.
I'm happy with that and a real bonus is the cheats get told to play on.
Leeds diving in the box at every opportunity just became tedious.
If the refs started to hand out yellows at the next break in play for simulation I reckon we'd be well on the way to watching 'normal' football.
