Two, maybe three can hint that they might come out of this season with any modicum of credit…the rest are an embarrassment to professional football and should be ashamed of themselves.
That Lee Clark as manager and Lee Novak (no slight on either) leading the line managed to keep us up at various points only magnifies just how poor these players are as a collective.

like i say, plenty of individual talent in that side, but as a team, we're really poor & unbalanced.

That's wonderful, but we would not be in the bottom three were it not for decisions made by these directors.
We might have been fifteenth or sixteenth, but we wouldn't be twenty-effing-third.
If we get relegated this season, we deserve it both because of the performances of the players on the pitch, and the decisions that the board has made in disrupting an on-field operation that was getting results out of those personnel.

It was as if it was a new way of introducing the ball into play and they were struggling with how it all worked
Baffling
Basics I was taught as a player was get the ball in your hands and behind your head quickly when it goes out because something might be on.
Happened early in the second half when Stansfield did just that and Laird was wide open down the right, trouble was Laird was too busy having a whinge at the linesman for not getting a foul to clock on to what was available.
Fair play to Stansfield, he gave him an earful.

I really hope Tony does come back next season, our performances were very promising under him, I seriously believe we wouldn’t be in this position if he didn’t have unfortunate health issues.
Look how many shots we were having per game under Mowbray, the football was better, you could see the progression week by week.
Honestly think he’s the best manager we’ve had in a long long time.

We also kickstarted Sheffield Wednesday's revival under Tony Mowbray. They hadn't won in 6 games coming into that tie, beating us started a run of 5 wins out of 6.

Do you have to name a certain amount of players in a squad and if so would that be the reason that Donovan as an example isn't on the subs bench.
Reason for the question is we just don't look like scoring a goal at all and that's not a criticism of Stansfield who works his gonads off. I was wondering why we don't try Dixon from the under21s who is over 6 feet tall and has scored a good few goals. If we continue with this formation we'll walk into a relegation spot due to many things but a lack of goals is really killing us.
Stansfield and Dembele up top. Try to get them into goal scoring positions.

Tempo wise we were very slow and ponderous. A team with no idea on how to break opposition down, or score goals, or create chances. It quickened a little after half time, but as always happens with blues, we never capitalise and then we concede, and then we just fade away and lose 1-0.
Don’t know how or what I feel after tonight. I honestly think that’s it and we’re down, I don’t see another point nevermind a win.
Please somebody give me some positives even if we do go down.
