Keep its simple, work hard and set pieces
As a short term impact, there’s few better
This.
You get a lot of hipsters and then on top of that a load more dorks constantly try and overcomplicate what is a very simple game.
Colin tosspot is a effing dinosaur of football and succeeds because he shouts at his players a lot.
If simply shouting at people is what it takes to succeed at our level then rather than looking at football managers and coaches clubs should recruit people from the Army.
He has fluked a promotion with a pathetic points total for winning the league of 88. That’s about all he’s ever done at Championship level and above apart from getting relegated a lot from the PL.
He's also took three clubs other than QPR up from the second tier to the top flight. Did he fluke those too?
Keeping a few dogshit teams in the division is not “succeeding at this level”.
If he does at Huddersfield what he did at Rotherham and what he's done at multiple other clubs who have been in the cart and keep them up that is its own form of success. It is daft to suggest otherwise.
