Re: FA Cup Final
TamMade in DaeguTamCharcyI don't really think it will have gone. It was pretty much a second strong last game of the season.
I appreciate that and hope that’s the case for tomorrow. Hopefully they will hit their stride again straight away. I can’t remember the last time I watched an FA Cup Final, but I’m looking forward to this one. Living in Stafford and seeing all of the glory hunting Man U and Liverpool fans has made me want Man City to crush them both.
I’ve noticed more and more Man City shirts around town- the number of glory-hunting Man City fans is growing!!
It hasn't reached the metropolis of Stafford yet (much like Christianity and electricity) but I'm sure it will. I only know/knew five - one's a pal of mine who I buy and sell a few guitars with, two are pub acquaintances, both from Manchester and are swivel-eyed lunatics, then there's my wife's boss, who has been going to Maine Rd/Etihad for forty years and my old pal Geoff who was a lovely bloke - moved back up to Cheshire to be nearer his kids and sadly died of cancer not long after. He cheerfully endured the piss-taking from the local ManU shirts over the years, but I'm glad that he had the last laugh as far as football was concerned.
I have much respect for genuine Man Utd and Man City fans- what’s happened to both clubs is not their choice and I know they’d still be following their club, home and away, even if they were shit. The flippin’ glory-hunters must do their nut!
