Vikings sign draft pick Bucky Hodges, agree to terms with Pat Elflein
The Vikings, back to work at Winter Park after Memorial Day weekend, continued to get their 2017 draft class under contract today.
Tight end Bucky Hodges, a sixth-round pick, has officially signed his rookie deal. That’s now six of their 11 draft picks under contract. Wide receiver Rodney Adams, a fifth-rounder, was the first to sign last Thursday.
Hodges won’t be the only Vikings draft pick to sign today. Center Pat Elflein, a third-round pick who is already mixing in with the first-team offense, has agreed to terms and will sign today, per a league source.
Running back Dalvin Cook, a second-round selection who was the team’s top pick this year, is one of the few who have yet to put pen to paper.
