Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley Have Separated
It’s a beautiful day to be a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fan: Cast member and all-around diva Bronwyn Newport has separated from her husband of nine years, Todd Bradley. Per “Page Six,” multiple sources say that the duo are “headed for divorce” and that Newport initiated the process. Separately, a source told Radar Online Thursday that Newport announced the separation during the sixth season’s reunion taping, which was filmed in New York last week and is slated to air next year. “This shouldn’t come as any surprise, though,” the source said, adding that Newport “is disgusted by what she’s been seeing on TV.” On Friday morning, a representative for Newport confirmed to People that “after thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated.”
“This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another,” the rep said. “They ask for privacy during this time.”
Since Newport joined the RHOSLC cast in 2024, she’s won over a horde of supporters with her treasure trove of kooky designer pieces (including a Moschino hot-dog dress), her advocacy for trans rights in the overwhelmingly red bastion of Utah Mormons, and her unwillingness to bow down to Lisa “I Do Big Things” Barlow. But viewers have long bristled at Bradley’s treatment of his wife, who is 27 years his junior. Last season, Newport revealed that Bradley had had an emotional affair that nearly broke her, which he apologized for with a ring with five diamonds (one for each promise he should have made when they wed in 2016). During the current season, the couple filmed a strange scene at an ice-cream shop where Bradley stole Newport’s Maraschino cherry after she explicitly told him that was her favorite part. Later, Barlow told the group that Bradley apparently made out with one of her friends in New York and was “farting the entire time,” a claim Newport denied.
The couple do not share children, though Newport has a 19-year-old daughter, Gwen, from a previous relationship. Newport had stated on the series that she and Bradley, who is reportedly worth around $24 million, did not sign a prenup. If that’s still the case, I hope she gets every last cent. I cannot wait to see what Newport’s idea of a revenge dress looks like — a couture Maraschino-cherry print, perhaps?
