Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to reveal where he would like to see Tottenham Hotspur finish in the Premier League this season.
The Arsenal supporting shamed former editor of the Daily Mirror claimed that he would like to see Manchester City win the Champions League and for Spurs to finish in fifth, which would mean that they would play in next year’s Europa League.
Arsenal are currently a point behind their North London rivals in the Premier League table with both sides having played 33 matches.
Tottenham fans will have the opportunity to prove Morgan wrong this evening when they can progress past City into the semi-final of the Champions League and take a one-goal advantage into the second leg.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have finished above the Gunners for the past two seasons and looked on course to comfortably make it a hat-trick until they recently threw away a ten point advantage.
I'd like Liverpool to win the Premier League, Manchester City to win the Champions League, Arsenal to win the Europa League, Watford to win the FA Cup, Brighton to avoid relegation & Spurs to come 5th.
