There is no doubt that Tottenham Hotspur are now in crisis mode after their 3-0 defeat against Brighton yesterday.
The team has conceded 10 goals in their last two games, whilst only managing two clean sheets so far this season and are yet to win a game away from home in any competition since January.
Mauricio Pochettino and his players have come in for severe criticism from the press with some pundits suggesting that the Argentine’s days at the club could be numbered (Sky Sports)
However, the Tottenham manager insisted in the post-match press conference that he isn’t worried about his future at the club (Football.London).
While some Spurs fans on social media were left extremely disappointed and angered by the performance, several of them refused to blame Pochettino for the dip in form.
Many fans made it clear that they still back the 47-year-old to lead the club out of this mess. While some insisted that the buck stops with the players, others felt that it was the Tottenham hierarchy that was to blame.

Blame Pochettino all you want, but Levy is the root of this club’s mess, and has been for 18.5 years.#ENICout #LevyOut

Fuck the board. Fuck the players. I’m backing you right to the death, Poch???? pic.twitter.com/OQTsGzcSjC

Let’s not act as if we were a title winning side before Pochettino came to Spurs. We’ve only won two league cups since 1991. He changed our footballing culture. Some people have very short memories. Give the man time & he’ll change things around again. This won’t last forever.

People asking what Pochettino has done for us…um, yes we were doing fantastic before he joined weren’t we? We’ll just ignore the Champions League qualifications, title challenges and all of those memorable nights of beautiful football just because his players aren’t performing.

Pochettino just went out on tv and said I hope all the pressure comes to me and the players can get away. They don't fucking deserve him. Neither does this club. Fuck every single player at this football club.

At the end of the day, we’ll never be an elite club while ENIC are in charge, but Poch made Spurs fun whilst working under those constraints. And don’t say “well, it ain’t much fun now” – a few months ago he took us to a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL and we were all crying tears of joy.

Cant even describe this in 1 tweet. He has my full backing until the end. Fans away in Brighton are still supporting him, fans on twitter think that sacking him immediately brings us Jose or Ten Hag. It doesn’t. It’s makes our problems worse and we’ll end up with Eddie Howe. pic.twitter.com/tzbRcoawVb

This isn’t the first or last time a manager will be hung out to dry, we will keep being in this vicious circle until something gives above. Best manager in 30 years and we have failed to back him. Do we need change? Unfortunately yes! ???? #THFC

Spurs Web Opinion
It is good to see that some Spurs fans still haven’t lost perspective on how far Mauricio Pochettino has taken the club. While the Argentine certainly deserves time to turn things around, he likely won’t get too much more time if the results don’t improve soon. This is because it is easier to change the manager than it is to sell all the players and buy a new squad.
