Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris is currently into his ninth season at the club and the Frenchman has experienced a number of highs and lows during that time.
It would be fair to think that the Frenchman would find it difficult to name his favourite memory during his time at Spurs so far.
However, the goalkeeper did not hesitate in picking his penalty save against Arsenal’s Pierre-Emile Aubameyang in March 2019 at Wembley as his most cherished moment.
The 33-year-old’s penalty save in injury-time ensured that Spurs drew the game 1-1 and in the end proved pivotal to the Lilywhites finishing above their North London rivals that season to secure Champions League football.
Watch what Lloris said about that moment as well as his journey to the top during Spurs TV’s sponsored interview with ICW watches:
"My penalty save against Arsenal is still a great memory… You cannot expect a better thing than to save a penalty in the last few seconds of a derby."

Hugo has been an unbelievable servant to Tottenham since arriving from Lyon in 2012 and the Frenchman certainly deserves some silverware to show for his time at the club. Let’s hope that arrives sooner rather than later.
