Fabrizio Romano has revealed that RB Leipzig have completed the signing of Tottenham target Illiax Moriba.
Moriba graduated through La Masia and impressed after breaking into Barcelona’s first-team last season but the midfielder has been frozen out by Ronald Koeman after failing to agree on a contract extension with the club.
It was reported a couple of days ago that the North London club were looking to hammer out a €20m (£17.1m) deal for the 18-year-old.
Sources initially claimed that although Moriba had agreed on personal terms with Leipzig, he prefered to join Spurs over the Bundesliga side.
However, it emerged this morning that Spurs had ended talks with Barcelona regarding Moriba while Leipzig were pressing ahead with negotiations.
According to Sport, Moriba felt that he was more likely to get regular game time at Leipzig and was keen on playing Champions League football.
Romano has now given his infamous ‘Here We Go’ stamp of authority to the midfielder’s proposed move to Germany.
Ilaix Moriba leaves Barcelona and joins RB Leipzig, done deal and here-we-go confirmed. He’ll be in Leipzig today in order to sign & undergo his medical tomorrow morning. €15m final fee.

Spurs Web Opinion
I am not overly fused with missing out on Moriba. In fact, having already signed one for the future in Pape Sarr, I believe we need to bring in a midfielder who can improve our starting eleven. Someone like Yves Bissouma or Franck Kessie would be the dream but that now looks extremely unlikely.
