Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the first half performance against Burnley.
Chances to break the deadlock for both sides have been very few and far between with Harry Kane arguably having the best opportunity to put his side ahead in the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie
The 28-year-old, who is captaining Tottenham in the absence of Hugo Lloris was fed a pass on the left-hand side of the Clarets penalty area by Giovani Lo Celso and got himself goal side of the defence only to uncharacteristically lash the ball considerably wide.

Aside from clearly not having any attacking shape or coaching and having to rely on a disinterested Kane & Lucas bloody Moura… having both Skipp & PEH really doesn’t help with our complete inability to attack fluidly. It’s not like the FBs are bombing in either #THFC #COYS

Not the worst half, just no attempts on target again. No one willing to take shots on, it's got to be a confidence thing.
Gio looks more up for it tonight at least.
Feel for Kane man

Another 45 minutes gone without a single shot on target. The lack of creativity in this team is shocking!
