Micah Richards has revealed that he was confronted by a fan in a boxing gym in London about an opinion he had given on Harry Kane.
There has been a lot made over the years of Kane’s lack of silverware and how that would impact the striker’s legacy as one of the greatest in Premier League history.
Richards weighed in on that debate recently, with the former Manchester City man claiming a couple of weeks ago that he does not think the 29-year-old is as good as Alan Shearer or Wayne Rooney, given his lack of medals (Sky Sports via The Express).
The pundit has now told CBS Sports that he was confronted by a fan for saying what he did about the Tottenham man.

Spurs Web Opinion
There are scores of players with Premier League medals who no one remembers.
So, this argument that Kane will not be remembered if he does not win trophies is nothing more than desperate attempts by opposition fans to downplay the striker’s achievements.
To suggest that a player who finishes his career as Tottenham’s, England’s and the Premier League’s highest goalscorer, will not be considered one of the all-time greats, is ridiculous.
