Tottenham Supporters’ Trust explain their role in new ticketing review at the club
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust has now revealed what its role will be in the club’s long-term ticketing review moving forward.
Things are going pretty well for Tottenham right now, with new manager Ange Postecoglou transforming the club very quickly since his appointment this summer. The Australian has got the players performing on the pitch, and results are keeping fans happy.
Being top of the Premier League is fantastic, but the issues at the club run a little deeper than that. Fans had been protesting against the club’s owners and Daniel Levy throughout last season due to a perceived lack of ambition.
More recently, the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST) has been vocal about its displeasure at the club’s plans to increase ticket prices in the future. A statement at the time deemed the plans to be ‘unacceptable’ and claimed the fans’ ‘loyalty is being exploited.’
THST will play a big part in ticketing review
Now, the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust has released details of a meeting with the club, and revealed the campaign they launched against the idea has led to a seemingly positive outcome.
In light of the opposition to the plans, the club has now announced it will “embark on a long-term ticketing review” and it has been agreed that the THST will “play a full part in this process.”
The THST said it will “promote the best interests” of its members and the club’s fanbase, and believe the group is “better placed by being involved in such a process than not.” The Trust adds it will “be clear with the club” where any instance of disagreement occurs.

It’s early days, and very little is known about how the review will actually go, but the fact the THST is involved is a massively positive step and should help to achieve a positive outcome by the end of the process.
