Spurs fans will be very excited about what Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe has just revealed about the club’s pursuit of Eberechi Eze.
From a Tottenham perspective, the last 48 hours have been dominated by news regarding the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Manchester City star Savinho.
However, that is not the only deal that Spurs are working on, with reports widely indicating that Thomas Frank’s men are also looking to sign a number ten following James Maddison’s ACL injury.
Over recent days, some sources have indicated that Tottenham could challenge Arsenal in their pursuit of Eberechi Eze, and that now appears to be coming into fruition.
Tottenham have initiated talks over a deal for Eberechi Eze
Tottenham insider, Paul O’Keefe, who is very reliable when it comes to breaking news about the developments at Hotspur Way, has now provided an update on Eze.
He took to social media to reveal that Spurs have now made contact over signing the England international. O’Keefe added that talks are ongoing between the Lilywhites and the Eages regarding the experienced attacking midfielder.
He wrote: “Tottenham have made contact over a deal for Eberechi Eze. Talks have taken place.”
Spurs have been encouraged to bid for Eze
This update from O’Keefe comes a couple of days after GiveMeSport revealed that Crystal Palace have encouraged Tottenham to make offers for Eze.
It was revealed that the Eagles are hoping for a bidding war between the two North London giants for the 27-year-old.
The same update claimed that Thomas Frank had already approved the signing of Eze, but Spurs are assessing all their options before making a decision.
