West Ham vs Tottenham confirmed Premier League team line-ups – Xavi Simons starts

Thomas Frank has selected his Tottenham Hotspur team for the Premier League match against West Ham United.

Tottenham return to action following the international break with a tough test against their London rivals under the lights in Stratford.

Frank will be keen to bounce back from Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth which ended their impressive start to the Premier League campaign under the Dane.

West Ham, in contrast, come into the fixture on the back of a win following their win over Nottingham Forest, having lost to Sunderland and Chelsea before.

The Spurs head coach confirmed on Friday that Dominic Solanke remains injured and will miss the trip across the capital.

Summer signings Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani have both trained at Hotspur Way this week as they get to know their new team-mates.

Tottenham need to bounce back with a Premier League win

The performance against Bournemouth was far below the standards seen in the previous two matches, with Thomas Frank’s side having struggled to create any clear cut chances.

Yves Bissouma is nearing a return to match fitness but remains sidelined for this match.

With Tottenham’s Champions League campaign kicking off with the visit of Villarreal on Tuesday, fans will be hoping to see a convincing performance against the Hammers.

Fixtures are set to come thick and fast for Tottenham for the rest of September across multiple competitions.
