However, things are not going well according to plan for one senior Tottenham Hotspur man, who made a temporary switch late in the summer transfer window.
Manor Solomon sealed a loan move to Villarreal in the dying stages of the transfer window after Crystal Palace pulled out of a deal on deadline day, but the winger has struggled to adapt to life at the La Liga club.

The Israeli international has made just four league appearances this season, and Football.London reported a few days ago that Tottenham may consider recalling Solomon in January.
A new report in El Periodico Mediterraneo (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now claimed that the 26-year-old is himself in favour of prematurely ending his loan spell.
The report says that Solomon is unhappy at Villarreal and has failed to adapt to life at the Spanish side.
The winger is displeased with the lack of opportunities he has had this season, and it is asserted that he has already asked Tottenham about cutting short his spell at El Madrigal in January.
Spurs’ London rivals want to sign Solomon
The report says that the Tottenham man’s situation has attracted the attention of their London rivals, West Ham.
The Hammers want to reshape Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad in January, and adding firepower to their attack is the club’s top priority.
It is alleged that the East London club have already ‘enquired’ about the availability of Solomon, but it is not made clear if they want to sign the winger on loan or permanently.
