Helen Flanagan shocks fans as she posts picture of her in a wedding dress after split from fiance Scott Sinclair
HELEN Flanagan has left fans stunned as she posted a snap of her in a wedding dress following her split from fiance Scott Sinclair.
The couple – whose split last year was revealed by The Sun – share Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, two.
She and millionaire sportsman Scott were together for 13 years – with the couple starting dating in 2009.
Helen, took to her Instagram stories where she posted a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress.
The photo was taken using the FacePlay app, which is a popular internet trend in which users can envision how they might look as a bride.
She penned to her 1m followers: “At this rate this is the closest I’m going to get. Yes I’m a grown woman with 3 kids and I paid for this app and waited for it to download.”
Helen previously explained that her and Scott had split before she went to South Africa to film the show in September – but kept her ring on to keep the break-up under wraps.
The actress told OK!: “I did wear my engagement ring when I was in the jungle.
“We’d only just broken up, and I didn’t want everyone to be asking, ‘Where’s your ring?’ I wanted to keep it private for the kids.”
She added: “I just hope we can be good friends and co-parent. A lot of people say: ‘Oh, stay, make things work for the children.’
“But children need happy parents and they need a happy environment, so it’s not always so straightforward.”
The Sun revealed in October that Helen, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, and Scott had called time on their relationship.
They did reunite in Dubai and spent time together with their children when he was on a break from training in April.
However, they weren’t pictured together and Helen later insisted they had not rekindled their relationship.
