I live on ‘luckiest street in UK’ where ALL neighbours won £100k thanks to £12 raffle which took seconds to enter

A LOTTO jackpot winner scooped a jaw-dropping £100,000 – and so did ALL her neighbours – thanks to a £12 raffle.

Anne, from Heald Green, Greater Manchester, believes she lives on the luckiest street in the UK after landing the life-changing windfall.

The mum-of-two bagged the incredible prize after entering the Postcode Lottery.

And, she wasn’t the only local – there were nine other gobsmacked homeowner who were handed a large cheque.

It was in fact the commotion during this jubilant ceremony that caused Anne to check what the fuss was about.

Initially when the Postcode Lottery called to inform her of the jackpot – she slammed the phone down thinking it was a scam.

The worried mum even rang her daughters – who told her not to give away any personal information.

Anne said: “There was a lovely party atmosphere when they were here in the street.

“I peeped round the hedge and saw the cheques, I was trying to see the amount as they opened them.”

After realising she had won too, Anne quickly made plans to donate £10,000 to the village hall, where she works as a chairperson.

Much of it will also be gifted to a Multiple Sclerosis therapy centre, after her husband was diagnosed with the disease.

Other winners on Greenhythe Road were neighbours Roy and Julie.

The couple’s day was completely turned around after their boiler broke down that morning.

Julie said: “When they emailed us and phoned we thought we may have won about £1,000.

“When we kept seeing all the noughts as the cheque was pulled out of the envelope I kept saying ‘Oh My God, Oh My God’.”

Meanwhile, neighbour Tracy Mellor, believed her jackpot was thanks to her late dad Peter “shining down” on her.

The 54-year-old broke down in an emotional scene as she was presented a cheque for £100,000.

Incredibly, she had just cancelled Peter’s own ticket two weeks prior.

She said of her “bittersweet” win: “That’s me dad, that.”

It comes as other winners celebrate Post Code Lottery scoops on streets up and down the country.

Another lucky couple who scooped £142,000 in the raffle revealed their plan – but it may surprise you.

Sue Lamb, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, was “overwhelmed” when she discovered the massive windfall just after Christmas – saying “it’s like having my children all over again.

But the pair aren’t planning on splashing the cash on fancy cars or holidays.

Instead they want to re-vamp their crumbling garden fence, after years of playful battering from three grandchildren.

The winning grandparents shared the £1m jackpot with five neighbours in Sutton Coldfield, after B74 2EA landed Postcode Lottery’s weekly Millionaire Street prize today.

Another dad on the street told how he scooped a £142,000 lotto jackpot – and spent the money on his daughter.

Kevin McCann, 67, received a frantic call from his girl after she cracked a back molar the night before he landed the whopping sum.

Now kind-hearted Kevin has vowed to spend hundreds from his winnings on a crown for daughter Donna Hardwick, 45. 

Elsewhere, another couple who won £60,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery told how they were able to double their winnings.

Susan and Colin Tallon from Warrington, Cheshire, were able to take home twice the £31,250 prize on a massive fluke.

Meanwhile, a group of lucky Brits who bagged themselves £3.2million  revealed how they’ll splash the cash.

The huge prize was won by more than 1,000 locals on a Greater Manchester estate.
