I forked out £8k for a dazzling Turkey smile… people say they ‘knocked 10 years off’ but I’m trolled for the look
A WOMAN has left everyone totally divided after sharing the £8k dental makeover she got done in Turkey.
As we’re fast approaching this summer’s season of Love Island, there’s another hot topic fans will be sure to talk about – the contestants’ dazzling white gnashers.
But it’s not just influencers and celebs getting their teeth gone – as reported by Cliftonville Dental, each years sees as thousands of British and Irish citizens jet off to Turkey for a new Hollywood smile.
This is primarily because compared to getting your teeth done in the UK, the costs are more affordable, and one person who knows a little about this is beauty lover Claire.
The woman recently took to TikTok to share the so-called ”Turkey Teeth”, which she had forked out £8,000 for – however, the smile glow-up sparked a fierce debate amongst viewers.
According to Claire, who posts under the username @clairebear221271, the overall process took her a long period of four month, during the course of which she had all of her natural teeth removed.
Once the implants had been put in, the woman was given temporary gnashers that she was recommended to wear for three months to ensure the gums would heal.
After returning to the sunny Turkey for the final stage of the dental transformation, Claire had her impressions made, before the pros sent her home with the brand new smile.
All chuffed with the Before and After, the beauty enthusiast gave social media users a close-up of the mega-white teeth and thanked the clinic for the results.
”So happy with them,” she wrote in the now-viral video.
Since the makeover, Claire has also had a little bit of lip filler injected into her pout, which she insisted had made ”a difference”.
”It is scary but for me it was the best decision,” Claire wrote in the comments.
But despite feeling her best, Claire – who found out that some of her natural teeth had become ”loose” – was also met with cruel trolling on the platform.
One meanie, for instance, reckoned that she didn’t need to fork out for the procedure in the first place.
”Your original teeth looked good, they just needed whitening and composite bonding.
”It looks like you removed absolutely healthy teeth.”

However luckily, most people flocked to comments to hit back at the vicious trolls, with many totally obsessed with the dental glow-up.
One kind-hearted social media user insisted that the smile makeover had taken years off Claire’s face.
”Tbf [to be fair], they look nice and have made you look younger!”
Someone else wrote: ”I think both the temporary and permanent ones look great. not too white either.”
”Aww babes, they’re fab, you’ve even got the natural colour too,” a third couldn’t get over the transformation.
