‘It’s the skirt of summer’ cries midsize mum as she bags perfect M&S buy that doesn’t give you a tummy & flows over hips
A SHOPPER has hailed a £35 buy in Marks and Spencer as the “skirt of summer”.
Ash Reid, from Glasgow, regularly shares her clothing hauls and outfit creations on social media.
And in a recent video, the podcast host – part of the Girls Overheard trio – was left gushing over the “surprising” prices in M&S as she picked up a “gorgeous flowy piece of beauty”.
Trying on the champagne satin midi slip skirt, Ash said: “This is just a touch of class.”
“Oh my goodness, the material of this is just so special I can’t even explain it.
“It doesn’t give you a tummy, it flows gorgeous on your hips and bum.
“Seriously this is the one. See if you’re looking for the satin skirt of this summer, I found it.
“I found it and it’s from M&S. I absolutely love it, it is perfect in every way and as much as I’ve got this as a dressed up look I know that we can dress it down.”
The mum of two – who wears a size 12/14 – added: “Just know that when you’re trying items from M&S the quality is unreal so when you’re buying something it truly is an investment into your wardrobe.”
The £35 skirt comes in sizes 6-24 and is available in petite, regular and long.
M&S bosses say: “This on-trend slip skirt will stylishly take you from the office to your evening plans.
