Buffalo man charged with murder following fatal shooting in January
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man was charged with second-degree murder after he allegedly shot a victim sitting in a parked car in January, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
It is alleged that Jaquan Terry, 27, shot Danthony Barron, 32, on the afternoon of Jan. 19 while Barron was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle. Barron drove a short distance away on Roslyn Street before he died.
Terry was arraigned on an indictment charging him with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon on Friday morning.
He was held without bail and faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
