ICE agent who shot leftist activist Renee Good in car-ramming incident ‘suffered internal bleeding to the torso’
The ICE agent who fatally shot ant-ICE activist Renee Good in Minneapolis last week during an alleged car-ramming “suffered internal bleeding to the torso,” according to multiple officials speaking to several broadcast networks on Wednesday.
CBS News reports: “The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.
“It was unclear how extensive the bleeding was. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Ross’ injury, but has not yet responded to CBS News’ requests for more information.”

“He definitely has some injuries that he went to the hospital for,” ICE Director Todd Lyons said of Officer Jonathan Ross on Fox News Tuesday. “Luckily, he’s doing better, and again we’ve always said our thoughts and prayers go out to everybody that’s involved. No law-enforcement officer wants to be involved in that situation. But it is tough times right now and our No. 1 priority is that officer.”
President Trump previously indicated Ross had been transported to a local hospital and treated.
“I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense,” Trump said on Truth Social last week.
“Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, Trump was asked Tuesday by CBS News if he had anything to say to Good’s father, who is reportedly a Trump supporter.
“Well, I want to say to the father that I love all of our people. They can be on the other side. As you say, he might be on my side,” Trump said.
“I think it’s great,” Trump said when the reporter indicated Good’s father “is on your side.” “And I would bet you that she, under normal circumstances, was a very solid, wonderful person, but her actions were pretty tough,” Trump said.

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Tuesday: “Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, Operation Metro Surge is rapidly removing the criminal illegal aliens who have found sanctuary in Tim Walz’s Minnesota.
“The men and women of DHS law enforcement are working day and night to arrest and deport sickos, dirtbags, and fraudsters from across the state.”
