TIGER WOODS returns to golf after his fifth knee surgery looking to make up for lost time and win a load of money.

The 15-time Major champion tees off in a high-stakes Skins match against Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, Australian Jason Day and Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama.

All four will go head-to-head in The Challenge: Japan Skins at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Japan.

They got together for a funny classroom video in which Matsuyama mocked Woods for his old age to promote the event – but you can find out everything about it below.

When is The Challenge: Japan Skins?

The Challenge: Japan Skins will take place on Monday, October 21.

How can I watch The Challenge: Japan Skins?

The star-studded event will be streamed in full exclusively and free on GOLFTV internationally.

However, due to existing rights agreements in the UK and Ireland, fans will be required to subscribe to watch The Challenge.

What time is The Challenge: Japan Skins on?

The event will begin at 12pm local time in Japan.

That means it will be one to take place in the middle of the night for those of us watching in the UK.

Japan are eight hours ahead of the UK BST, meaning it will start at 4am here.

How does skins work?

The player with the lowest score for each hole wins that hole and whatever amount of money the hole is worth.

If two or more players record the same score on one hole then the money is carried over to the next hole, effectively making the next hole worth double the value.

Any four of the players can win the cash on the next hole.

Once a skin or multiple skins are won, the next hole goes back to being worth one skin.

How much money are they playing for?

The overall purse is roughly £270,000.

Holes 1-6 are worth £7,822 each.

Holes 7-12 are worth £11,733 each while a win on holes 13-17 will bag a player £15,644 for each one.

The 18th hole is a super skin worth a whopping £86,022.
