Man Utd star Rashford in hilarious post about Greenwood as Young pays touching tribute to gran with goal
MARCUS RASHFORD posted a hilarious picture of two young Manchester United fans watching Mason Greenwood tearing apart AZ Alkmaar.
Striker Greenwood bagged two in the 4-0 win, another superb return for the 18-year-old, who now has six goals in nine starts for United this season.
The England striker said: “When you’re left on the bench watching @masongreenwood have all the fun. Well played bro.”
Only Rashford, 22, has more goals than Greenwood this season — as the striker looks to be the latest talent in a superb crop of young stars.
Meanwhile Ashley Young posted a heartwarming tribute to his Grandmother after scoring United’s opening goal at Old Trafford.
Alongside a picture pointing to the sky, the winger turned full-back, 34, posted on Instagram: “Grandma I know you’ve waited a couple of months, but that one’s for you.”
The post was commented on by former team-mate Romelu Lukaku, now at Inter Milan, and Scott McTominay.
United captain Young has been used sparingly this season, with the former England star surely in the twilight years of his career.
But he played 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Spurs, before another 67 against Alkmaar, bagging the opener, started by a lovely piece of skill from Andreas Pereira.

When the ball appeared to be on to play a square pass back inside, Young smashed it into the roof of the net from a narrow angle to set United on their way.
He was hauled off by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for another promising academy graduate in Brandon Williams.
Greenwood, Mata’s penalty and another from the teenager set United up for a 4-0 win to top the group and go through to the round of 32 as one of the top seeds in the Europa League.
