UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals he is ready to play professional football after receiving ‘lots of’ offers
UFC superstar Khabib Nurmagomedov could soon be lacing up a pair of football boots after receiving ‘a lot of offers.’
The retired Russian has made it no secret of his love for the beautiful game in the past.
The Eagle, 32, has even been working on his skills after calling it a day in the Octagon in October.
With the transfer market in full swing, he put himself in the shop window by announcing he is ready to sign on the dotted line for a club if a professional deal is on the table.
Now it appears he could make his childhood dream become a reality.
Speaking on his Instagram page, he said: “A lot of football clubs, they have offered me [a deal].
“If some club offered me an interesting offer, I’m going to accept it because it’s my childhood dream.
“I love football, I’ve been following it since I was a child. It’s my first love.”
According to MMA fighting, Russian third-tier sides Dynamo Legion and FC Kamza are believed to have offered him a deal.
He recently revealed how he has even spoken with Cristiano Ronaldo and the owner of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Khabib added to Match TV: “To play football on a professional level is a childhood dream. Of course, I have such a wish. Football is the king of sports after all.
“Who haven’t I discussed this with! I’ve spoken even with the Uefa president Aleskandr Ceferin, with the owner of PSG, yes and even with Cristiano Ronaldo.
“My dream club is Real Madrid.
“In fact, the first match I remember watching the full 90 minutes, was Real vs Juventus in 1998 [Champions League final].

The footy-mad Nurmagomedov recently shared a video of himself scoring a goal during a light-hearted match with his friends.
Khabib announced his retirement from MMA last October immediately after his second-round submission victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
