Florenzi has arrived in Milan
Alessandro Florenzi left Rome this morning and is ready to start a new chapter with Milan at San Siro, moving on loan with an option to buy.
The full-back, who spent last season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, has reached an agreement with the Rossoneri to continue his career in Milan.
The two clubs have reached an agreement of a paid loan with an option to buy at €4.5m, according to Sky Sport Italia, and the formalities have been filed with the green light from the Elliott fund.
The 30-year-old is, according to the broadcaster, expected to carry out his medical with the Diavolo today and then sign a deal with Stefano Pioli’s team.
Florenzi, who was a part of the Italy squad that went all the way at EURO 2020 this summer, grew up at Roma and has played 280 competitive games with the Giallorossi.
The report reveals the former Roma captain, capped 45 times by the Azzurri, has given up his salary for August to accelerate a move to Milan.
