The UFC is off, but the Bloody Elbow podcast network never sleeps. Instead of a breakdown of this week’s fighting action, we’re back to bring listeners another deep dive into MMA’s past with the latest episode of the MMA Depressed-us. This time around we’re focused on those fighters burdened with the weight of big expectations. Training partners to the stars.
Starting things off, we’re watching future Jon Jones heir apparent Bevon Lewis taking on Darren Stewart at UFC 238. Then we’ll jump over to the next, GSP: Mike Ricci and his UFC 165 bout with Myles Jury. And we’re capping the whole thing off with a protégé vs. protégé matchup with Conor McGregor training partner Artem Lobov, in his UFC 202 battle against lil’ Diaz bro. Chris Avila.
