September 27 – Corinthians retained their women’s league crown in Brazil on Sunday with a 3-1 victory over Palmeiras, winning a third overall league title and becoming the most successful club in domestic women’s football.
Adriana and Vic Albuquerque, with a bicycle kick, as well as Agustina’s own goal ensured Corinthians took an unassailable lead before half-time. Camilinha pulled one back for the visitors in the second half, but to little avail. Corinthians had also won the first leg 1-0.
