Leicester star Maddison jokes he ‘always preferred Gaz’ after Geordie Shore star Scotty T calls him ‘cheating c***’
JAMES MADDISON brilliantly hit back at Geordie Shore star Scotty T after the Leicester playmaker was branded as a ‘cheating c***’ by the Newcastle fan.
The Foxes ace, 25, starred in the 4-0 win against the Magpies at the King Power Stadium, chipping in with a goal and an assist.
Maddison played a huge role in all four strikes, as he won the penalty which Youri Tielemans converted just before the break after being fouled by Jamaal Lascelles.
His glorious flicked through ball then sent Harvey Barnes through on goal, who squared to Patson Daka to make it 2-0 to Leicester.
The England international then set up Tielemans for his second of the match after he unselfishly passed to his team-mate.
He completed the scoring with a clinical finish into the bottom right corner late on after a neat one-two with Daka.
But reality TV personality, who spent seven years on the hit MTV show Geordie Show, took aim at Maddison on social media after he won the spot-kick.
Real name Scott Timlin, the 33-year-old reality star insinuated that Maddison dived to win the penalty after he posted a picture of Tokyo 2020 gold medallist Tom Daley.

Captioning the photo, he tweeted: “James Maddison when he sees a leg out in the box. Cheating c***.”
Maddison was quick to fire back at the 2016 Celebrity Big Brother winner by stating he preferred his former Geordie Shore co-star Gary Beadle.
He posted: “Always preferred Gaz anyway.”
Magpies boss Eddie Howe was also of critical of Maddison, as he declared that he made the most of the contact from Lascelles.
Howe said: “I’m surprised that it hasn’t gone to VAR for the referee to have another look himself.
“It’s obviously a contentious decision, and I’d always encourage the referees to go and have another look themselves.
“I don’t think the scoreline is reflective of the game, and I think the penalty decision has obviously had a huge bearing on the outcome.
“In my opinion, I don’t think it was a penalty.
“Maddison is going over before the contact is made, and it’s just disappointing the referee didn’t go over to have another look at it himself. That would have been the best decision.”
