Chelsea stars including Raheem Sterling join Todd Boehly at LA Dodgers’ stadium during pre-season tour of US
CHELSEA’S superstars on a different kind of pitch as part of their US pre-season tour.
The Blues showed off new £50million signing Raheem Sterling at the home of 2020 Major League Baseball champions LA Dodgers.
Owner Todd Boehly is part-owner of the franchise and invited the squad to check out the facilities.
Sterling posed out on the diamond holding a football and wearing his new Chelsea shirt.
Whilst Boehly posed with members of the team – Sterling, Marcus Bettinelli, Thiago Silva, Jorginho, Malang Sarr and Edouard Mendy – in custom Dodgers jerseys.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are set to play three pre-season matches over in the US.

They will face Club America, Charlotte FC and Premier League rivals Arsenal.
They then fly to Italy to continue their tour against Udinese.
Stars also got the chance to meet rap legend Snoop Dogg in while LA.
The hip-hop hero turned up at the club’s California training camp.

Striker Kai Havertz and midfielders Jorginho and Billy Gilmour were among the players posting snaps with the superstar.
And the West London party might soon be joined by Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Koulibaly has arrived in London to complete his medical ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge.
The 31-year-old will cost Boehly another £34m to be the Chelsea’s second signing of the summer.
The Senegal international is set to pen a five-year contract that will see him earn £300,000 per week, with the option of a further year.
