Alfredo Morelos transfer news: Aston Villa jump to front of queue for Rangers ace as he nears injury return
ALFREDO MORELOS’ Rangers future is subject of much speculation in every transfer window.
But as he enters the final year of his Ibrox contract, that is only going to intensify.

Boss Steven Gerrard knows the 26-year-old extremely well from their time together in Glasgow and was hailed for getting through to his star striker after a string of disciplinary issues.
Morelos has been out of action since March – missing the club’s latter stages in Europe and Scottish Cup win – with injury having been sent home early from international duty with Colombia.

That means Van Bronckhorst is reluctant to lose the club’s all-time record scorer in Europe, particularly with the recent club record fee received for Calvin Bassey.
But Villa have moved ahead of Sevilla in the betting at 3/1 to sign Morelos, with the Spaniards recently linked with a move for him.
