Young stood out in Mobile with his explosive first step, power, and production. His skill set fits the Bears need for a rotational pass rusher to complement Montez Sweat in defensive coordinator Dennis Allen’s scheme.
Mesidor has also been frequently mocked to Chicago due to his burst, length, and ability to attack the edge, while Banks offers size, versatility, and interior disruption. McDonald, a breakout defensive tackle, would help address a run defense that allowed 5.0 yards per carry in 2025.
With the combine and pro days still ahead, the Bears Senior Bowl approach strongly suggests they are targeting a defensive front-seven player at No. 25 as they look to build on last season’s momentum.
