On Thursday, the UK blames Russia for a cyber-attack last year, publicly blaming Moscow for spreading a virus that disrupted companies across Europe. The NotPetya attack in June began in Ukraine where it crippled both government and business computers before spreading around the world, halting operations at factories, ports and offices. Britain's foreign ministry claimed that the attack originated from the Russian military. Russia has previously denied being behind the NotPetya attack, and on Thursday Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow "categorically denies the allegations".
