'We need money' Tajani outlines three major threats to EU
Speaking from Brussels, the European Parliament president outlined the four major threats to the EU and claimed Brussels will need to find new ways to fund its political budget after Brexit.
Mr Tajani said that as the UK is negotiating its departure from the bloc, the EU will need money to cover the inevitable budget shortage created by Brexit. He said: "For us, what's important most of all is our political goals.
"Illegal immigration, security, internal and external, and growth. "And more jobs for young people. Youth unemployment was one of the most important problems in Europe. "We need to decide on these issues and for this, we need a political budget.
