State Police troopers save man's life with CPR after crash
New Jersey State Police troopers used CPR to save a man's life when they found him unresponsive and without a pulse in a vehicle in the median
Sgt. Karen Fahy and Trooper Christopher Herman were on patrol the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway in South Toms River on Thursday when they came found the vehicle down an embankment.
The driver was unresponsive and the troopers broke a window to get to the man, authorities said. The rescue efforts were captured on a dashcam.
They continued to perform CPR until the man had pulse, authorities. He was taken by medical personnel to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment and he has since been discharged
