Anna News team reporting from Eastern Ghouta, as the battle for Eastern Ghouta begins slow due to humanitarian pauses. The battle dubbed 'Damascus Steel' looks to free the entirety of Eastern Ghouta from the internationally back Al Qaeda groups besieged here. Estimates of militants ranges form 9000-15000 men, whilst the civilian population trapped here is anywhere between 90-140k people. The terrorists use these people as human shields even on the front-line. Ghouta could take a month to free as we are seeing the exact same hysteria and occurrence of events as in Aleppo. The Syrian Army have captured Hawsh Al Dawhara and an deference base located south of this town, The SRG also advanced in the city of Harasta west Ghouta, these advances are the largest in over two years in Eastern Ghouta.
